George Blagojevic (24 points) and
J.R. Lynch (20) each had career days for the Hartford men's basketball team, but a second-half rally led St. Francis to a 74-67 win over the Hawks on Sunday. Yunus Hopkinson and Tyreek Jewell each netted 20 points for the Terriers in the win.

Blagojevic added six rebounds, three assists and three steals for the Hawks, while Lynch's damage came at the free-throw line, where he went 11-for-11.
Justin Graham led the Hawks with seven rebounds. Chris Hooper added 13 in the win for the visitors.
FIRST HALF:The Hawks jumped out to a quick 4-0 lead on a Blagojevic jumper and a pair of free throws from Lynch, but St. Francis came right back with eight straight points to take an 8-4 advantage. After the teams traded baskets to 10-6, Hartford delivered a 6-0 run, as Blagojevic fed
Jason Dunne for a back-door layup and then the two swapped roles to put the Hawks ahead 12-10.

The Hawks were able to push the lead to 19-15 on a Lynch three-ball from the left wing, but St. Francis came back once more, using five-straight points to take the lead. It was back-and-forth the rest of the way to the final whistle, with the Hawks delivering the final four points of the half, the last two from Lynch on a jumper that gave him 11 points and put the home squad ahead 33-32 at the break.
SECOND HALF:The teams went blow-for-blow out of the locker room, with the Hawks lead sitting at 40-39, but then Hartford embarked on an 8-0 run to push it to a game-high nine. Lynch and
Jack Hobbs delivered layups to start the rally, then back-to-back buckets by Graham put the lead at 48-39.

After the teams traded baskets to a 55-46 score, St. Francis embarked on a pivotal 12-0 run, regaining the lead at 58-55. The Hawks were able to get it to one on three separate occasions, but each time SFC had an answer. A three-pointer by Glenn Sanabria put the Terriers ahead 65-61 with 1:37 left, and St. Francis was able to lead by at least three from then until the final whistle.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS:• Led by Blagojevic and Lynch, the Hawks got 48 of their 67 points (71.6 percent) from freshmen.
Jason Dunne added four points, three rebounds, two assists and a steal for Hartford.

• The 33 attempts at the free-throw line matched the season high for the Hawks, set in the season opener against Central Connecticut.

• Lynch became the first Hawk in over three years to be perfect at the line with at least 10 attempts.

• Hartford won the battle of the boards, 34-30, and outshot the Terriers, .455 to .393. It marked the first time this season the Hawks have fallen when holding the opposition under 40 percent.

• Hartford's eight three-point attempts were a season-low, less than half as much as the previous low, 17 against Louisville.
UP NEXT:Hartford will head to the road for a matchup with Providence on Wednesday, Dec. 2. The Hawks and Friars will tip off at 7 p.m. in a game that will be televised on the Fox Sports Network.
