THE LEAD:
Elizabeth Snow delivered a home run in each end of the doubleheader, as UAlbany took two from the Hartford softball team on Saturday.

GAME 1: UALBANY 6, HARTFORD 0
Bianca Ross hit a double and pitched six innings, but UAlbany got a strong performance from Bailey Turner in the circle to win the first game. Turner allowed just two hits and two walks, striking out five in the shutout win.

Snow went 2-for-2 with a home run, three RBI and two runs scored in the win for the Great Danes. Sarah Petzold went 2-for-3 with two RBI as well, while Donna Conrad had two hits.

HOW THEY SCORED, GAME 1:
• UAlbany rallied with two outs in the third, using a walk and four hits to take a 4-0 lead.
• Snow added a two-run homer, her 10
th of the season, in the bottom of the fifth to result in the final score.

GAME 2: UALBANY 9, HARTFORD 1
Kylie Dazalla scored the lone run of the game on a
Kristen DeCiantis sac fly, but the Great Danes used big innings in the first and the fourth to earn the doubleheader sweep.

Snow hit a two-run homer, while Kelly Spear drove in three runs in going 2-for-4. Aliyah Wade had a 3-for-3 day with a pair of runs scored. Celeste Verdolivo allowed two hits and a walk in four innings to collect the victory for UAlbany.

HOW THEY SCORED, GAME 2:
• The Great Danes plated five runs in the first on five hits and an error, including Snow's second homer of the day.
• UAlbany added three more runs, two on Spear's two-run double, in the bottom of the fourth.
• In the top of the fifth, Dazalla led off with a double, moved to second on a sac bunt and came in on DeCiantis' sac fly.
• The Great Danes finished the game with two walks and two hits in the bottom of the fifth.
