HOW IT HAPPENED:
- After junior Kelly Douglass opened the game by netting a three in the opening seconds, the Seawolves quickly responded by scoring each of the game's next six points. Hartford answered the Stony Brook run with a 13-3 run of its own to take an 18-14 lead at the end of the first quarter. Â

- Hartford came out of the break with a hot hand, going on an 11-5 run to open the half and push its lead back to double-digits. Stony Brook wouldn't go out without a fight, though, cutting the Hawks' lead to a single point with 2:42 left in the third quarter on an Aaliyah Worley layup.
