HARTFORD 65, MARIST 56
The Hawks and Red Foxes exchanged blows throughout the entire first half, as the lead changed hands four times during that opening stretch. Marist scored 10-unanswered points to erase a 21-18 deficit and take its largest lead of the half at 28-21 with 3:18 to go, but an 18-foot jumper at the buzzer by redshirt-senior
John Carroll capped a half-ending 8-0 run that put the Hawks in front by one (29-28) at intermission.
Momentum continued to shift back-and-forth in the second, and with 7:55 left, Ryan Funk tied the game for the fifth time at 53-53 with his third three-pointer of the stanza. That tie would be the last of the game, though, as Hartford answered with a 12-0 run and held the Red Foxes without a point until the final seconds to seal the win.
