The University of Hartford women's lacrosse team dropped a 17-0 decision to visiting New Hampshire in America East action on Saturday morning. Carly Wooters scored four goals to pace the Wildcats, while Michele Smith and Krissy Schafer each added three scores.
Freshman
Cassidy Hock registered nine saves and a game-best five ground balls to lead the Hawks.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Wooter netted each of her four goals in the first half while Schafer struck three times in that stretch, including the game's first goal 40 seconds in, to help the Wildcats build a 12-0 advantage at halftime. Six of UNH's goals in that stretch came on free-position attempts.
- The Wildcats' offense continued to roll in the second half. Haley Bridgeman and Michele Smith combined for four of the team's five goals over the final 30 minutes to extend the lead to 19-0.

- The Wildcats finished with a 14-5 edge in draw controls and a 45-24 advantage in ground balls.
- Teagan Northrup handed out three assists to finish with three points for UNH.
- UNH's defense held the Hawks to four shot attempts.
- Three of Hartford's attempts were registered as shots on goal, forcing reserve goalie Amanda Gottlieb to make a trio of saves to preserve the shutout.
- Danielle DeMarco, who logged 12 minutes between the pipes in reserve, registered three saves.
