Women's Basketball Falls to Quinnipiac in Non-Conference Finale

WEST HARTFORD, Conn. — Junior Jada Lucas paced the Hawks with 15 points, as the Hartford women's basketball team fell to Quinnipiac at home at Chase Arena at Reich Family Pavilion, 87-50, on Sunday afternoon. With the loss, the Hawks fell to 0-13 on the year, while the Bobcats improved to 3-6.

QUINNIPIAC 87, HARTFORD 50
After Hartford jumped out to an early 5-0 lead in the contest, Quinnipiac responded with a 26-12 run to take a 26-17 lead into the second quarter. The Bobcats kept their foot on the gas, outscoring the Hawks 25-8 to take a 51-25 lead into the break. 

The Bobcats opened the third quarter with an 11-1 run to extend its lead to 62-26. The Hawks trailed by as much as 37 points in the second half, eventually falling 87-50.
