BURLINGTON, Vt. – Hartford women's hoops locked up its 10th America East win of the season, topping Vermont, 76-48, Saturday afternoon.

Lindsey Abed scored a game-high 21 points, as the Hawks improve to 17-9 on the year and 10-2 in conference play. Hannah Crymble and Courtney Wright tied for a team-high with nine points, as the Catamounts fall to 10-15 overall and 6-6 in the America East.
HARTFORD 76 VERMONT 48
After taking a four-point lead into halftime, Hartford exploded in the second half, outscoring Vermont 24-7 in the third quarter. The Hawks continued to dominate the second half in the fourth pushing their lead to as many as 34, as Hartford rolled to the 76-48 win.

- Abed has scored in double figures in eight of her last nine games, and it is the fifth time this season that she scored 20 or more points in a game
- For the second time this month, Hartford had four players score in double-figures: Abed (21), sophomore Jade Young (16), junior Sierra DaCosta (13) and senior Alexia Douglas (11)
- DaCosta registered a career-high five steals to lead all players
- Hartford scored a season-high 44 points in the paint
- With 36 points off of 28 Vermont turnovers, the Hawks now have scored 30 or more points of opponents turnover's seven times this season
