Jada Lucas finished her junior season as the team leader in scoring (373 points), steals (44), and minutes played (1014). During her time as a Hawk, she has competed in two America East Championship title games (2017-18 and 2018-19), while in 2019-20 she helped Hartford defeat first-place Stony Brook in the regular season finale. The guard recorded 20+ points in four games during the 2019-20 season.Â

Prior to joining the Hawks, Lucas was a 1,000-point scorer for New London High School, leading the Whalers to an ECC Conference Championship and a Class LL State Championship in her senior year.
Lucas is currently a psychology major in Hartford's College of Arts and sciences. The America East Honor Roll member plans to use her degree to obtain a position in a school system to work with students.
