ARMY 9, HARTFORD 3
Both teams started off the game hot as Army plated four runs in the top half of the opening inning. It wouldn't take long for the Hawks to respond though, putting up three runs of their own in the bottom half of the inning. After back to back singles from
Danielle Rocheleau and
Emma Armstrong,
Kelsey Galevich launched a bomb to left center as she recorded her first homerun of the season, cutting the lead to 4-3. The score line would hold until the fifth inning when the Black Knights tacked on three more runs to increase their lead to 7-3. Army would add two more runs to win 9-3.

RUTGERS 3, HARTFORD 2
In game one, Rutgers would get off a strong start of their own, plating three runs in the opening inning. The game would remain deadlocked at a 3-0 score line, until the top of the 6th when the Hawks offense came alive.
Emma Armstrong opened up with a leadoff single before advancing to second off a wild pitch. Galevich would continue her great day at the plate, ripping an RBI triple to left to score Armstrong and get the Hawks on the board. Two batters later, Galevich would reach home after an error by the Scarlet Knights center fielder. The comeback effort would fall short however, as Rutgers held on for the 3-2 win.
