POWELLS POINT, N.C. — The Hartford men's golf team concluded its 2021-22 fall slate with a 10th-place finish at the ODU/OBX Intercollegiate. Graduate student
Ryan Tomaso finished 27th to pace the Hawks at the 17-team event, which was hosted by Old Dominion at Kilmarlic Golf Club.

TOURNAMENT HIGHLIGHTS & NOTES
- Tomaso, who was tied for ninth after the first round with a 69 (-2), turned in a 1-over 214 to take 27th place over the three-day event
- His three-round score was a season low, while his 69 in Sunday's round was the lowest score turned in by a Hawk at the event
- Sophomore Conor Byrne, who carded a season-best three-round score of 5-over 218, tied for 36th
- After recording a 79 in the opening round, freshman Kyle St. Pierre finished strong with an under-par round of 70 on Monday and a 72 on Tuesday
- St. Pierre tied for 47th with an 8-over 221, also a season-best score
- Senior Danny Frodigh, who also carded a sub-par round on Monday with a 70, tied for 53rd overall with a 9-over 222
- Delaware took top-billing at the event after finishing three strokes ahead of Drexel with a 13-under 839
- Drue Nicholas from Drexel earned medalist honors with a 12-under 201
