WEST HARTFORD, Conn. — The Hartford women's lacrosse team did not have an answer for the America East's top offensive team on Sunday, as No. 6 Stony Brook came away with a 19-1 victory on a rain-soaked Al-Marzook Field at Alumni Stadium. The Hawks (0-4 overall) dip to 0-4 in conference play with the defeat, while the Seawolves (8-2) remain undefeated in league action with a 4-0 record.
Four Seawolves netted hat tricks, led by Ally Kennedy, who scored four goals and added an assist for five points.

Birdie Montes put Hartford on the board with 15:35 remaining.

Kya Risher, who came in for the start of the second half, limited the Seawolves' offense to just two goals over the final stretch, as Stony Brook came away with the 19-1 victory.
