NEW HAVEN, Conn. — The Hartford men's golf team tied for ninth at the Macdonald Cup, hosted by Yale at Yale Golf Course this past weekend. Sophomore
Michael Amari paced the Hawks at the three-round event, tying for 14th among the 80-team field.

TOURNAMENT HIGHLIGHTS & NOTES
- Amari carded a 7-over 217 on the weekend, which included a career-low round of 70 (E) over the first 18
- Classmate Conor Byrne followed with a 13-over 223, which tied him for 36th overall
- Playing as an individual, freshman Kyle St. Pierre also tied for 36th place
- Senior Danny Frodigh and freshman Bryce Zimmerman each tied for 62nd after carding 19-over 229s
- Host team Yale took home the team title after edging Michigan by four strokes (846)
- Michigan's Will Anderson earned medalist honors with a three-round score of 14-under 206 (66-68-70)
