NEWTON, Mass. – Boston College took advantage of an early goal, coming in the 8
th minute, and held on the rest of the way for a 1-0 victory against the Hawks.

Hartford (0-3-1) locked down the Eagles defensively after the early score, with a strong performance in the backfield. Sophomore goalkeeper
Rotem Fadida finished with six saves for the Hawks.

It marked the second consecutive win for Boston College (2-1-0), following a season-opening loss at Quinnipiac.

HOW IT HAPPENED

Junior midfielder Mike Suski converted an assist from freshman Diego Ochoa in the 8
th minute for the game's lone goal. It was the second goal of the season for Suski, an Avon, Conn., native and two-time Connecticut Gatorade Player of the Year.

The Hawks kept Boston College off the board the rest of the way but struggled to mount much offense, finishing with six shots in the game.
