WEST HARTFORD, Conn. – The Hartford women's soccer team is set to wrap-up its 2022 campaign Thursday when it hosts AIC at Al-Marzook Field at Alumni Stadium. Thursday will also serve as Hartford's senior day, the Hawks will honor their four seniors

SCOUTING AIC
- AIC enters the midweek contest with a 5-7-3 overall record, while going 3-7-2 in conference play
- The Yellow Jackets are coming off a 2021 campaign where they finished the season 7-9-1, falling 2-0 to SNHU in the opening round of the NE10 tournament
- Graduate student Caroline Porter and sophomore Charlotte Bernard lead the AIC offensive output, tying for the team lead with three goals for six points
- Sophomore Wilma Jansson has been the main distributor for the Yellow Jackets, currently leading the team dishing out three assists
- Senior goalkeeper Olivia Sousa has been a mainstay in net, posting a 1.14 goals against average while making 28 saves on the season
SERIES HISTORY
- Thursday marks the first all-time meeting between Hartford and AIC
- The Hawks have posted a 2-3-2 overall record in the all-time meetings against fellow NE10 conference opponents
- Hartford's last meeting against a former member of the NE10 came against Stonehill on Aug. 19 where the Hawks would walk away victorious by a score of 2-1
- At home, Hartford has posted a 5-0-1 record, while AIC has registered a 4-2-1 record on the road
