Quinones Scores As Hawks Fall To UMass-Lowell

LOWELL, Mass. – Hartford men's soccer dropped a tough match 3-1 against UMass-Lowell Wednesday night at Cushing Field.

Hartford (0-10) had a stellar first half. Freshman goalkeeper Joshua Snyder made seven saves. Junior forward Alex Quinones scored his first career goal in the 25th minute to place the Hawks up 1-0. That lead would survive the rest of the half.

The second half would be a much different story as UMass-Lowell (2-5-3) was able to capitalize on three opportunities, ultimately sealing the victory.

Hartford now turns their attention to Dartmouth. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. Tuesday at Burnham Field in Hanover, N.H.
