WEST HARTFORD, CONN. – The Hartford volleyball team will place its undefeated home record on the line when the Hawks host the Smith College Pioneers 7 p.m. Friday at Chase Arena
Hartford (1-16) won its lone home match of the year Sept. 28 when the Hawks took down Stonehill in a thrilling five-set match in front of a raucous crowd. Junior outside hitter
Uzezi Ijoma contributed five blocks and two service aces during the victory. Senior outside hitter
Greta De Gasper led the team with 15 kills. Freshman setter Kylee Connally provided 24 assists.
The Hawks dropped their only match since then, falling in straight sets at Sacred Heart. Smith College enters the match with a 13-6 record, but have won only one set in their two most recent matches.
The match will be streamed live on Hartford Hawks All-Access. First serve is set for 7 p.m. Friday at Chase Arena.
