Tatum Forbes each dropped a career-high 12 points as the Hartford women's basketball team dropped a 74-46 decision to Bryant Saturday. The Hawks fall to 0-6 on the season while the Bulldogs move to 3-4 on the year.
BRYANT 74, HARTFORD 46
Bryant started the game strong, jumping out to an early 4-0 lead. Forbes cut the Bulldog lead in half after swiping her first steal of the game and driving to the basket on a fast break. Bryant extended the gap to 12-2 before back-to-back threes from Dowding and graduate student
Jasmine Barnes cut the gap to 16-8 heading into the first break. The Bulldogs opened up the second quarter on a 16-0 run before taking a 45-22 into halftime.
Bryant kept their momentum going to start the second half of action, opening the third quarter on a 6-0 run. Hartford was able to respond after senior

Kymilondra Nance, and Forbes combined for 7-of-8 free throws entering the fourth quarter trailing 57-31. After trading baskets to open up the final quarter, the Bulldogs regained their momentum and took the contest by a final score of 74-46 over the Hawks.
