Hartford Set For Meeting With Rival CCSU

WEST HARTFORD, CONN. – Hartford volleyball will play its first match in the home state of Connecticut when it travels just south for a meeting with in-state rival Central Connecticut State 7 p.m. in New Britain, Conn. at Detrick Gymnasium.
The Hawks (0-10) will be lead by senior outside hitter Greta De Gasper, who leads the team in multiple categories. De Gasper tops Hartford with 76 digs service aces with six. She is also second on the team with 64 kills and fourth with eight assists.
Also leading the charge will be senior setter Lika Nkenchor. An assists machine, Nkenchor has produced double-digit assists in five of the previous six matches. Nkenchor leads the team with 108 assists and is second on the team in digs and service aces.

CCSU enters the match at 4-3, but is on a three-match winning streak. The Blue Devils swept their opponent in all three of the victories during their current streak.
Hartford looks to snap their in-state rival's streak 7 p.m. Tuesday night in New Britain, Conn. at Detrick Gymnasium. The game can be viewed on NEC Front Row.
