SMITHFIELD, R.I. – The Hartford volleyball team fell in straight sets at Bryant Tuesday night at the Chace Athletic Center in Smithfield, R.I. Despite a hard fought battle, the final tally came out to 25-18, 25-13, 25-20.
Freshman outside hitter Isabella Labrada posted a strong second set with five kills. She finished the night with a .500 hitting percentage. Senior outside hitter Sara Gasparotto posted a strong night with eight digs, seven kills, two blocks and a service ace. Senior setter Lika Nkenchor provided 14 assists, three digs and a block.

Hartford finishes off its 15-match marathon road trip with a trip to NJIT 6 p.m. Friday at the Wellness and Events Center on the campus of NJIT in Newark, N.J.
