LA SALLE 77, HARTFORD 30
The Hawks took an early lead in the first after freshman Elena Houghton scored on a layup just seven second into the contest. La Salle would increase its lead, closing out the opening frame on a 17-2 run to take a 23-6 advantage into the first break before opening up a 20-point 34-14 lead heading into the halftime break.

Coming out of the break the Hawks looked to get their offense rolling, opening the second half on a 4-0 run after senior Irene Primo drained the game's first three-point field goal before sophomore Nayeli Dowding converted one at the line. La Salle would regain its momentum, utilizing a 28-8 run over the final eight minutes of the quarter to open up a 62-26 lead heading into the final frame.
