SOUTH KENT, CONN. - The University of Hartford men's golf team took home another championship Monday as they won the Hartford Hawks One-Day Invitational, played at Bulls Bridge Golf Course.
 
Junior Austin Gambel tied for first to share the tournament championship, shooting an even par 72.

 TOURNAMENT HIGHLIGHTS & NOTES
  

• Gambel finished with three birdies – on the fourth, tenth and 15th holes. He recorded 12 holes of par.
• Graduate Manny Romero was tied for third finishing with three-over 75. Romero hit three birdies late in the tournament as he got one in the ninth hole, 10th hole, and 16th hole.
• Finishing in the top three for the Hawks was senior Turner Wegener as he tied for ninth. He carded six-over 78 with just one birdie.
• The Hawks as a team finished with 16-over.

The Hawks will return to play on Saturday October 14th and travel to Brewster Mass to participate in the NEIGA D3 Championship.
