BIDDEFORD, MAINE – Senior
Alex Quinones scored the equalizing goal in the 64th minute as the University of Hartford men's soccer team earned the 1-1 tie over Commonwealth Coast Conference foe University of New England Saturday at Blue Storm Field.
The Nor'easters took the early lead with a goal in the 18th minute as part of a first half in which each team finished with four shots.
Offensively, the game opened up in the second half as the teams combined for 22 shots over the final 45 minutes. With all of the shots launched, it was Hartford that was able to score as senior
Trey Sadler and freshman
Daniele Simeone assisted on the Quinones's goal.
Sophomore
Ryan Lunn made a pair of saves against three shots to earn the victory.
