WBB Gets Off to Slow Start in Loss

WORCHESTER, Mass. – The University of Hartford women's basketball team fell to Clark University Sunday, 61-33, in non-conference action inside the Kneller Athletic Center.

Freshman Ella Marchesani tallied a career-high 15 points on 4-of-15 shooting in 26 minutes.

Hartford got off to a slow start and wasn't able to recover. The Hawks were scoreless for the first seven minutes of the game as Clark scored the first 13 points of the contest.

Freshman Kendall Rieman tied a career-high with eight boards, while freshman Sidnee Bowden had a career-best four blocks.
