For the remainder of the summer, the University of Hartford Athletics Communication team we will be counting down the top 10 moments/performances of the 2022-23 season. Join us every Thursday as we highlight these accomplishments.

The number 8 moment is Robert Chaney's Senior Day Performance.

The senior hurler capped his University of Hartford career, earning his first win over the season in complete game fashion. Noah Rivera capped a five-run second inning with a grand slam that gave Hartford the 6-1 lead. The advantage would balloon to 8-1, and Chaney held off a Quinnipiac rally for the 9-6 win.

He allowed six earned runs on nine hits with five strikeouts in the victory.
