The University of Hartford volleyball team fell in straight sets, 25-14, 25-18, 25-20, to Wesleyan Tuesday in non-conference action inside the Chase Family Arena.
Sophomore
Isabella Labrada, for the second consecutive match, led the team in kills with 12. She was the lone Hawks with double-figure kills. Labrada totaled 12 kills on 27 attempts and six errors. She now has two double-figure kill matches on the season and four in her career.
Wesleyan, an NCAA tournament team a season ago, used extended scoring runs in each set to secure the victory.
INSIDE THE BOX & NOTES
- Hartford hit .085 for the game with 32 kills on 106 attempts and 23 errors.
- The duo of sophomore Kylee Connally and freshman Liahnna Orange combined for 25 assists, 13 and 12, respectively. Connally now has distributed double-figure assists 15 times in her career.
- Freshman Zahara Quraishi led the team with 11 digs, marking the second straight match with double-figure digs.
- Hartford finished with three service aces, one each from sophomore Juliana Robinshaw, sophomore Sydney Ball, and freshman Jenna Murphy.

Hartford (1-1) travels to Poughkeepsie, N.Y. for a tri-match at Vassar. The Hawks will face Neumann at noon and Vassar at 4 p.m.
