University of Hartford baseball coach Steve Malinowski is delighted to unveil the comprehensive 30-game schedule for the 2024 season, marking the program's inaugural Division III season.

"There is a lot of excitement in our program as we begin the 2024 season, said Malinowski. "The early non-conference schedule will prepare us for the highly competitive CCC games. Our players and coaching staff are working hard each day to make sure we are ready for the challenges ahead."  

The Hawks start the season with a home doubleheader against SUNY New Paltz (March 2) and a nine-inning game with Eastern Connecticut State (March 6).for their first doubleheader. Hartford then heads to Myrtle Beach for a seven-game spring break trip. 

After playing four more home games, including a March 19 date with the University of Saint Joseph's, the Hawks hit the road for the first time, playing Commonwealth Coast Conference foe Curry (March 26). Hartford hosts Western New England (April 2) for its first CCC game at Fiondella Field. 

Hartford is set to engage in eight doubleheaders, with five against CCC opponents. The team will host six doubleheaders, while the remaining two will be played away, including one at Myrtle Beach.  

Hartford welcomes back a formidable contingent of 12 players, including standout returners such as senior Jake Santiago, junior Colin Blake, and sophomore Michael Featherstone, all of whom will serve as the 2024 captains, along with sophomore Joe Dooley.
