WENHAM, Mass. - Freshmen Nicholas Forgione and Ethan Hunt each notched three goals as the University of Hartford men's lacrosse team fell to Commonwealth Coast Conference foe Gordon College, 11-10, at Brigham Athletic Complex.
Forgione scored in the first, second, and third periods, while Hunt scored in the first and twice in the fourth period.
Hartford began the first period with a 2-2 tie, The Fighting Scots then took control of the game scoring four goals in the second period to lead 6-4 at half. The Hawks were able to close the gap by a goal at the onset of the fourth period, but ultimately fell 11-10 in the final minutes of the game.Â
