DANBURY, Conn. – The University of Hartford women's lacrosse team fell to Western Connecticut State, 19-11, Wednesday at The Westside Athletic Complex.
The Wolves scored 11 of the first 13 goals, including seven of eight first-period tallies. Hartford was able to score three of the last four goals of the second period to pull to within seven and then added another goal to open the third period to get as close as six.
Freshman Madison Olmsted led the Hartford scoring attack with a career-high four goals. She added her team-leading third assist on the day. Freshman
Katie Graham added a pair of goals for the Hawks.
