Stellar Defense Lifts MLAX in Season Finale

Freshman Christopher Ledwick and defense came up huge as the University of Hartford men's lacrosse team beat Commonwealth Coast Conference opponent, Curry College, 6-5 Tuesday at Al-Marzook Field.

Ledwick defended the Hawks between the pipes,  recording eight saves to shut out the Colonels 2-0 entering the half. The Colonels answered back, bringing the score 3-2 during the onset of the third period but graduate Jake Ojert and freshman Ethan Hunt each notched a goal in  the finals minutes to take a 5-2 lead entering the final period.
