DANBURY, Conn. - The Hartford women's tennis team scored three points on Wednesday falling to Western Connecticut State University 4-3 in non-conference action. 

Rapid Recap:

• The Hawks lost the doubles point, but sophomore Victalia Z. Deida (New Haven, Conn.) and freshman Maddie Pearlman (New Hampton, N.Y.) won the #2 doubles match 6-0. Graduate student Crystal Gallagher (Wallingford, Conn.) and senior Gabriella Carr (Springfield, Mass.) came up just short losing in #1 doubles 7-5. 
• In #1 singles Gallagher picked up a point for the Hawks winning 6-3, 6-1. Pearlman followed it up with a win in #3 singles at a score of 6-3, 6-2. Deida picked up the final point in a thriller in #4 singles winning 4-6, 7-5, 10-6.

The Hawks will travel to Beverly on Saturday taking on Endicott College at 1:00 PM.
