WEST HARTFORD, Conn. - The Hartford women's tennis team picked up its first win of the season on Saturday defeating Curry College by a 7-0 final. 

Rapid Recap:

• The Hawks won all three doubles matches starting out with senior Gabriella Carr (Springfield, Mass.) and graduate student Crystal Gallagher (Wallingford, Conn.) winning by a 6-0 final in #1 doubles. In #2 doubles freshman Maddie Pearlman (New Hampton, Conn.) and sophomore Victalia Z. Deida (New Haven, Conn.) won by a 6-1 score, while sophomore Natalie Lamb and sophomore Jessica Marks (Hartford, Conn.) won in #3 doubles by a 6-2 score.
• In singles play Hartford would sweep once again to win by the 7-0 final. Senior Lora Acquario (East Nassau, N.Y.) picked up her first win by a 6-1, 6-0 final in #6 singles. Carr would win in #2 singles by a 6-0, 7-5 final. Pearlman, Deida and Lamb would both win 6-0, 6-0 in #3, #4 and #5 singles, while Gallagher would win #1 singles 6-0, 6-1.
