BEVERLY, Mass. - Hartford Field Hockey took on Endicott College on the road for a Conference of New England (CNE) matchup, in which Endicott came out on top 9-0.

Rapid Recap:

• The Gulls got out to a quick start in the first period earning a penalty corner in the first minute, and they begun peppering shots at the Hartford Defense. Freshman Carolyn Somers (Worcester, Mass.) was able to make some stellar saves, saving seven shots in te first period, and keeping the score level at 0-0.
• Endicott would once again start their attack in the second period earning an early penalty corner, after another save from Somers Endicott would take an advantage putting them ahead 1-0. The goals would continue to pile up for the Gulls as they would end the period with a 6-0 lead. 
• Hartford would make a goalie substitution at halftime, as sophomore Nicole Ciampa (Jefferson, N.J.) would start the second half in the cage, she would notch four big saves for the Hawks, however Endicott would build on their lead going up 8-0 going into the final period. 
• The Hawks would again make a substitution at goalie bringing in freshman Aubrey Paul (Verona, N.J.) who would stop a shot on goal from the goals, but not before they notched yet another goal, finishing the game 9-0.

Inside the Numbers:

• Somers would finish the game 13 saves in 30 minutes, allowing six goals.
• Ciampa finished the game with four saves in 15 minutes allowing two goals.
• Paul would notch one goal allowed and one save in 15 minutes of work.
• Reagen Hicks and Maddy Denglar lead the game in scoring with two goals each for Endicott.
