BIDDEFORD, Maine  - The Hartford women's tennis team fell in a Conference of New England (CNE) match on Saturday to the University of New England by a 7-0 final. 

Rapid Recap:

• The Hawks fell in all three doubles matches. In #1 doubles senior Gabriella Carr (Springfield, Mass.) and graduate student Crystal Gallagher (Wallingford, Conn.) nearly stole the match falling by a 6-4 margin. #2 and #3 doubles both were won by UNE by a 6-2 final.
• In singles play Gallagher made a late run in #2 singles eventually falling (6-4, 7-6). Freshman Maddie Pearlman (New Hampton, N.Y.) also came up just short falling (6-3, 6-4).
