St. Marie Debuts as CNE Rookie of the Week

WEST HARTFORD, Conn. - Freshman Kendra St. Marie (Killingly, Conn.) was awarded Conference of New England (CNE) Rookie of the Week honors for her play in this weekend's Hartford Hawks Women's Invitational.

St. Marie and the Hawks finished in 6th in the first tournament of the season for the squad.  St. Marie posted a team low 86 (+16) in her lone round for the weekend due to the inclement weather. St. Marie's total was good for 16th overall in the 47-player field.

The team is slated to be back on the course on September 20th and 21st as they hit the road to Middlebury, Vermont, to compete in the George Phinney Invitational.
