EAST MEADOW, N.Y. - The Hartford Men's Golf team would participate in the George Cangero Invitational hosted by Farmingdale State University. The Hawks would place tied for sixth out of 14 teams, after one round. The second round was set for Sunday Sep. 13th but would be canceled due to weather. 

Rapid Recap:

• Freshman Luke Olynick (Toronto, Ontario) would finish tied for 15th shooting a 76 (+4) in the only round of the tournament. 
• Sophomore Tim Kaley (Dalton, Mass.) would place tied for 23 with sophomore Griffin La Londe (Montclair, N.J.) as they would both shoot 78 (+6).
• Freshman Justin Crossen (Wethersfield, Conn.) would place tied for 49th shooting a 83 (+11).
• Sophomore Shawn Amari (Townsend, Mass.) would place tied for 57th shooting a 84 (+12).
• The Hawks' Independent players, freshman Braden Bhalla (Ridgewood, N.J.) would shoot a 77 (+5) placing 22nd, and freshman Alex Mills (Cambridge, England) would shoot a 82 (+10) placing tied for 45th. 

Inside the Numbers:

• Hartford would finish with nine birdies through their one round. 
• The Hawks would shoot a combined 27 over par. 
• NC Wesleyan would take home first place shooting a combined 11 over par.
• Framingham's Jacob Andersen, Adelphi's Zeus Sara, and NC Wesleyan's Charlie Wiltshire would all tie for first place shooting one under par (71).
