WEST HARTFORD, Conn. - On Tuesday, the Conference of New England (CNE) announced it's weekly honor roll. Hartford's Men's Golf freshman Luke Olynick (Toronto, Ontario) would be named Golfer of the Week

Olynick would take these honors after a 15th place finish over the weekend at the George Cangero Invitational, hosted by Farmingdale State. In the tournament Luke would shoot a 76 (+4) in the tournament's one round of play, as the second round would be canceled due to inclement weather. Luke would finish tied for 46th in the Hawks previous tournament the Red Bandanna Invitaional, hosted by Boston College, in a day where much of the field would struggle given the difficult nature of the course at Turning Stone Resort. Prior to Hartford Olynick would earn top -five finishes at the MJT at Century Pines, and Notah Begay Canadian Championship Qualifier. 

Luke and the Hawks will return to tournament play in the upcoming weekend, as they will participate in the Williams College Invitational on Sep 19-20th.
