SENIOR (2016):
Made 16 appearances for the Hawks, making six starts … earned a 4-2 record and one save on the hill … stuck out 24 in 45.1 innings of work… Threw seven innings of shutout ball, striking out two against Binghamton (5/27) … Stuck out five during five innings of work in a win against Maine (4/24) … only gave up 4 hits in 5 innings, striking out 3 in a win against UMass Lowell (5/14).
JUNIOR (2015):
The righty pitcher was a workhorse for the Hawks, tossing three complete games (a team high) in 73.1 innings, good for second most on the team and fifth overall in the America East, in 12 starts … made the America East All-Academic Team and was an America East Pitcher of the Week … struck out a career-high 34 hitters … tossed six scoreless innings and fanned six in a game against Delaware State (2.22.15) … threw eight innings of one-run ball and struck out five in a win over Seton Hall (2.27.15) … allowed just 73 hits on the season, the second least among the team … named to the America East Academic Honor Roll for achieving a grade point average of 3.0 or higher.
SOPHOMORE (2014):
Made 19 appearances, all but one of which was out of the bullpen … finished the season second on the team with a 1.59 earned run average, allowing just nine runs, seven earned, in 39.2 innings of work … gave up a team-low four walks, while recording 18 strikeouts and holding opponents to a .216 batting average … finished the season with a 6-2 overall record, the second most wins on the staff in 2014 … did not allow a run through his first two starts, a total of two innings, while not allowing a run to score in 13 total outings, a total of 28 innings … earned his first victory of the season in his second appearance of the year at George Mason (3.2) … two of the six victories came against league opponents, Maine (4.7) and Albany (4.19) … closed out the season without allowing a run in his last three appearances including five innings over two games at the America East Championship ... played summer ball for the Brockton Rox in the Futures Collegiate League … named to the America East Commissioner’s Honor Roll for the second straight season for achieving a grade point average of 3.5 or higher.
FRESHMAN (2013):
Made 12 appearances on the mound, the first four out of the bullpen and the last seven in a starting role … finished the season with a 3-3 record and a 6.89 earned run average … gave up 28 runs, 25 earned, on 50 total hits … struck out 25 batters, sixth most on the team … pitched a total of 32.2 innings, giving up just four walks … longest outing was six innings twice against Fairfield (3.28) and Quinnipiac (4.16) … struck out a career-high six batters against Quinnipiac, finishing seven games with two or more strikeouts … did not give up a run on three hits, while striking out five, in the six innings against Fairfield, earning his first collegiate victory … also scored wins against Sacred Heart (4.9) and Quinnipiac … named to the America East Commissioner’s Honor Roll for achieving a grade point average of 3.5 or higher.
BEFORE HARTFORD:
Played four years of baseball and ran one year of indoor track at Weymouth High School … as a senior was named team captain and received First Team All-Conference as well as All-Star honors … also named team most valuable, finishing with 76 strike outs in 65 innings pitched … recorded a high school record 0.83 earned run average as a senior … received the “Buzz” Herald Outstanding Sportsmanship Award as a senior … was also a First Team All-Conference selection for indoor track … an insurance and finance major in the Barney School of Business.
