Biography

AT HARTFORD
2024: Stone started in all 21 of Hartford’s games in her graduate season. Stone set the program-record for all-time assists with 50, and surpassed her single-season assists record (19) from 2023. Christina ended the season with 45 points on 10 goals and 25 assists. Stone recorded a career-high five assists in a single game on October 26th against Wentworth. Alongside her assists, Stone scored a career-high 10 goals, including the game winning goal in Hartford’s Eastern Collegiate Athletics Conference (ECAC) Championship win over Springfield. Stone was named the ECAC Most Valuable Player, recording three goals and three assists in the tournament, and was named to the All-ECAC First Team. Stone was named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-America Women’s Soccer First Team and Academic All-District Team. She was also named to the New England Women’s Intercollegiate Soccer Association (NEWISA) All-New England Second Team, United Soccer Coaches’ Second Team Scholar All-American, United Soccer Coaches All-America Fourth Team, and All-Region First Team. Stone also took home awards in the Conference of New England (CNE), as she was named the CNE Scholar Athlete of the Year, CNE All-Conference First-Team, and the CNE Elite-20 Award Winner.

2023: Stone started in all 18 of Hartford’s games in her senior season, recording 1,308 minutes, the fourth most for the Hawks. Stone set the program record for assists in a season (19) with six multi-assist games, including her multi-assist game against Western New England on October 24th to surpass the former record. and a two-assist performance in the Hawks Eastern Collegiate Athletics Conference (ECAC) Championship win over Pitt-Greensburg. Stone was named to the ECAC All-Tournament team. Stone was named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-Region and All-District teams. Stone was selected as a Second Team All-Region by the United Soccer Coaches. Stone was named to the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Fall Academic All-Conference Team. 

2022: Stone appeared in all fourteen of Hartford’s games, making ten starts and logging 1,224 minutes on the pitch. Stone recorded her lone goal of the season on September 8th against NJIT.
Stone’s four assists this season were tied for second most on the Hawks.

2021: Stone appeared in 16 games for the Hawks in her first season, earning nine starts, including her first collegiate start on August 19th against Delaware State. Stone would record her first collegiate assist in the contest, assisting on Hartford’s fifth goal in a 5-0 win. On September 19th, Stone would record her first collegiate goal, scoring the go-ahead goal against New Hampshire in a 2-0 victory.

PRIOR TO HARTFORD: Stone was a four-year letter winner at Loomis Chaffee, where she helped lead the team to two NEPSAC Class A Championships in 2016 and 2017. Stone served as a captain for Loomis Chaffee for two years and was a two-time All-State selection. Stone played club soccer for Oakwood Soccer Club.
