AT HARTFORD
2026: Featherstone makes his first two All-Region teams after a stellar senior season. He was named to the America Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) / Rawlings NCAA Division III All-Region 2nd Team, while also being named to the D3Baseball.com All-Region 3rd Team. Michael ended the season as a CNE All-Conference 1st Team selection after finishing 2025 on the 2nd Team All-Conference. Michael ended the year with a 2.84 ERA across 11 appearances and 25.1 innings pitched. Featherstone picked up 32 strikeouts over the course of his 11 games with four saves and a 1-1 record. In CNE play his ERA was 1.62 across 16.2 innings. He was also named to the CNE Community Service Team. Featherstone got his first save of the season on March 14th against Bowdoin College tossing three innings while allowing just one walk with four punch outs. He picked up his first win on March 31st tossing 4.2 innings allowing just two runs with seven strikeouts. He would add back-to-back saves on April 4th and April 7th while just allowing a single base runner. Featherstone leaves the Hawks tied for 5th in program history in career saves with nine. He was also later named to the 2025-26 All-Hawk Team. 

2025: Featherstone was a key reliever for the Hawks in his junior season. He went 2-3 across 16 relief appearances, posting a 5.06 ERA with a 1.31 WHIP over 26.2 innings. Featherstone also struck out 24 batters while issuing 10 walks. A highlight came on April 27th against Gordon, when he earned the win by tossing seven strikeouts in 3.0 innings of relief, preserving a 7-4 victory. His performances earned him a spot on the Conference of New England (CNE) All-Conference Second Team and the CNE Community Service Team.

2024: Featherstone made 12 appearances in his sophomore season, tallying a 4.76 ERA with 27 strikeouts in his 22.2 innings pitched. He ended his season batting .309 with 20 runs scored and 29 hits. In the field Featherstone finished with one PO and one assist.

2023: In Featherstone's freshman season he made 13 appearances claiming a 5.17 ERA with 14 strikeouts in 15.2 innings pitched. 

PRIOR TO HARTFORD: Graduate of Ramsey High School. Featherstone was named 1-time Group State Champion, Group 2 All-State, All Bergen County Team, All Big North Conference, and he lead his team as captain for two seasons at Ramsey High School.
