AT HARTFORD
2025: Varano appeared in nine games for the Hawks. Ryan recorded five assists, totaling five points, and collected six ground balls. Notably, Ryan registered two assists in a 13-11 victory over Western New England University on April 19th. He also contributed an assist in Hartford’s 12-5 playoff win against the University of New England on April 26th.

2024: Varano played in all 13 games for the Hawks in 2024 scoring five goals and registering seven assists. Ryan registered two goals on April 9th against Wentworth Institute of Technology in a narrow loss. He also dished a career-high three assists in a 18-15 victory over Roger Wiliams University on April 20th. 

PRIOR TO HARTFORD: Graduate of Avon Old Farms High School, where Varano was a Central Connecticut All-Conference choice, a Founders League Champion and a Coaches Award winner. 

AT ENDICOTT COLLEGE: Varano played three season at Endicott College making 20 overall appearances for the Gulls. In his career Ryan scored three goals with six assists to go with 12 ground balls and five caused turnovers.
