AT HARTFORD
2025: Romatzick started all 40 games he appeared in during his sophomore season, slashing .385/.485/.443 (AVG/SLG/OBP) with one home run, 36 RBIs, two triples, 10 doubles on 65 hits, to go along with 34 runs scored and 11 stolen bases. In the field, JJ recorded 26 putouts and one assist with a fielding percentage of .964. Romatzick was named Conference of New England (CNE) Player of the Week on the week of 3/3. He also earned CNE All-Conference First Team honors and was selected to the ABCA/Rawlings NCAA Division III All-Region team. JJ also made program history with a 26 game hitting-streak during the season. He was also named to the All-Hawk team and 2025 Comeback Player of the Year. He was also named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team. 

2024: Romatzick missed the 2024 season due to injury.

2023: In his freshman campaign, Romatzick started all 37 games he appeared in, slashing .190/.238/.289 (AVG/SLG/OBP) with zero home runs, nine RBIs, two triples, two doubles on 24 hits, to go along with 20 runs scored and seven stolen bases. In the field, JJ recorded 40 putouts and two assists with a fielding percentage of .955.

PRIOR TO HARTFORD: Graduate of Stratford High School, where Romatzick was an All-State selection and team captain.
