AT HARTFORD
2026: Kaplan started 12 games in his senior season with 19 overall appearances. Josh ended the season slashing .225/.275/.326 (AVG/SLG/OBP) with three RBIs, six runs scored, two doubles and a pair of stolen bases. Kaplan would make 22 putouts and 29 assists with a .927 fielding percentage. Kaplan would go 2-for-4 for the Hawks on March 21st against Clark University with a double in one of his best games of the season. Josh's best game of the year came on April 1st against Eastern Connecticut State University going 2-for-4 with a pair of runs scored and a RBI in a Hawks tie. 

2025: Kaplan played in 22 games as a junior infielder for the Hawks. He slashed a .250 batting average with 21 hits, 12 runs scored, and 17 RBIs. He also had two doubles and five stolen bases on nine attempts. One of his best performances was a walk-off single to secure the victory over Nichols College on April 1st in extra innings. Defensively, he netted 50 putouts and 43 assists, committing four errors for a .959 fielding percentage.

2024: Kaplan made 30 starts in his sophomore season and totaled 31 appearances. Joshua tallied a 21.00 ERA with four strikeouts in his three innings pitched. Kaplan claimed a .324/.383/.410 (AVG/OBP/SLG) with 20 runs scored, two triples, five doubles, and 15 runs-batted-in. In the field Kaplan had 60 POs, 51 As, and nine errors totaling a .925 FLD%.

PRIOR TO HARTFORD: Graduate of Suffern High School, where Kaplan was a 2022 Rockland County Player of the Year, League Player of the Year, All-Section First Team Selection and a team captain. 

AT ITHACA COLLEGE: Made 15 appearances over a single season at ITHACA going 4-for-15 from the plate with six RBIs and three runs scored.
