AT HARTFORD
2025: West appeared in 14 games with eight starts during his sophomore season. He posted a .313 batting average and an .916 OPS. West tallied 10 hits in 32 at-bats, including a double and two home runs, driving in 13 runs and scoring seven times. On the field, West maintained a .889 fielding percentage across multiple positions, recording seven putouts and 26 assists. One of his best performances came on March 15th against Clark where he had five RBI’s and one stolen base in the 13-12 win. West  was honored with the 2025 CNE Baseball Elite 20 Award, which goes to the student athlete with the highest cumulative grade point average who participated in the CNE tournament in each sport. 

2024: West made 29 starts in his freshman season with 32 total appearances. West ended the year with a .192/.314/.222 (AVG/OBP/SLG), claiming 10 runs scored, two doubles, and seven runs-batted-in. In the field Peyton had 41 putouts, 85 assists, and four errors.
