AT HARTFORD
2026: Gentile finished his sophomore season with eight appearances with a single start. Evan gended the year with a 16.20 ERA with a 1-1 overall record. Across his 10.0 innings Gentile had seven strikeouts against six walks. Evan picked up his first collegiate win on April 15th at Keene State College going 2.0 innings allowing two runs with two strikeouts. Gentile added a solid two inning performance on April 29th at the United States Coast Guard Academy only allowing two base runners with a punch out. 

2025: Gentile made his debut for the Hawks as a right handed reliever. He appeared in 14 games, compiling 19.1 innings with a 7.91 ERA and 1.76 WHIP. He struck out 19 batters and issued 15 walks, earning two saves over his campaign. One of his standout performances came against Wesleyan on April 29th, where he entered a tight contest and struck out five, helping keep the game close despite the team falling short in the end.
