AT HARTFORD
2026: Newman made seven appearances with five overall starts in his sophomore season. Sean ended the year with a .261/.304/.346 (AVG/SLG/OBP) slash line with two RBIs and five runs scored. Defensively he had six putouts and 21 assists with a .844 fielding percentage. Newman had his best game of the season on March 15th against William Paterson Unviersity going 2-for-4 with a pair of runs scored and a walk. He added a two-hit game on March 21st against Clark University. 

2025: Newman made his debut for the Hawks in the infield. He appeared in four games slashing a .500 batting average and a 1.417 OPS. He tallied two hits, four runs scored, one RBI and one double. One of his standout performances came against Wesleyan on April 29th, where he had one RBI and a double in the close loss. In the infield, he had one assist and a 1.000 fielding percentage.

PRIOR TO HARTFORD: Graduate of Morristown High School. Newman was named 2nd-team All-Conference in his junior year and was titled captain his senior year.
