Biography

AT HARTFORD
2025-26: Short finished the 2025-26 season with a 6-12 singles record and a 8-10 doubles record. Jake would end the year 3-5 in the CNE in singles and 4-4 in doubles play. He picked up his first collegiate singles win on September 25th against SUNY Oneonta winning #3 singles by a 6-2, 6-3 final. Short would get his CNE singles wins on March 17th at Curry College, on April 11th against Nichols College and on April 14th at Western New England University. The team captain would get his first doubles win on March 15th against Rhode Island College winning #2 doubles by a 6-2 final. 

PRIOR TO HARTFORD: Graduate of Arlington High School, where Short was a All-League selection, 5-year award winner and team captain.
