University of Hartford

Azria Malloy joins the University of Hartford Athletics as an Assistant Athletic Trainer in 2025 after being hired in August. 

Malloy joins the Hawks after graduating in May of 2025 from Central Connecticut State University with a masters of science in athletic training. While in New Britain, Azria was an athletic training student since she arrived in 2023, where some of her duties included athletic injury evaluations, athletic rehabilitation, team preparation, and practice/game coverage.

Malloy also helped in the CCSU Community Clinic where she created a fall prevention program for community members. 

Malloy graduated from Sacred Heart University with a bachelor's in Exercise Science in 2023. While at Sacred Heart, Azria competed as a member of the women's soccer team. In her career Malloy competed in 53 total games with 32 starts. Azria was a All-Conference Second Team selection in 2019. 

Malloy holds three memberships as part of the Eastern Athletic Trainers Association, National Athletic Trainers Association and Connecticut Athletic Trainers Association.
