Had a solid debut season for the Hawks, playing in all 32 games with five starts … averaged 4.0 points with 1.7 rebounds and 1.3 assists … was a strong defender with 28 steals on the year … made his Hartford debut with six points off the bench at CCSU (11/11) … tied his season best with two assists against Rider (11/16) … perfect 4-for-4 from the free-throw line against Drexel (11/18) … tallied then-season highs in points (seven) and minutes (21) against Appalachian State (11/23/16) … hit a pair of threes at North Texas (11/27) … delivered seven points and four boards against LIU Brooklyn (11/30) … notched eight points at Quinnipiac (12/7) … set a new career best with three assists against UMBC (1/11) … matched his career-high with eight points at UMass Lowell (1/14) … tied his career best with a pair of steals against Maine (1/16) … posted five points, two assists and two steals at Stony Brook (1/19) … logged a career-best four steals and tied his season high with three assists versus UNH (1/22) … dished out a career-best five assists against UAlbany (1/28) … scored eight points with eight rebounds and four assists against Stony Brook (2/15) … delivered career-best 12 points with two steals at New Hampshire (2/18) … scored eight points in the America East Tournament loss to UAlbany (3/1).

Played in 12 games at Western Nebraska before suffering a season-ending injury … started eight of the 12 contests at point guard … averaged 9.7 points, 2.8 rebounds and 3.1 assists in 23.3 minutes per contest … shot 42.2 percent (35-for-83) overall and 43.9 percent (18-for-41) from behind the arc … finest game came against North Platte CC (12/11) when he went off for 24 points on 6-for-11 shooting to go along with six rebounds and four assists … posted five other games with double-digit scoring, including 16 against Laramie County (12/5) … helped WNCC to upset of top-ranked College of Southern Idaho (11/13) with seven points, five assists and four rebounds.
PREP/PERSONAL:
Was one of the most celebrated players in Madrid, if not the entire country of Spain, during his high school years … played for eight years with Basketball Torrelodones, where he was coached by current Hawks assistant Ivo Simovic … Torrelodones was ranked fifth in all of Spain in 2014-15 … that season, Ramirez averaged 21.5 points and 5.4 assists per game … also worked with the national team program from the age of 12 … has dual citizenship from England and Spain, as his mother was born in England.
