AT HARTFORD
2024: Metcalfe started in all 21 games in her junior season, leading the Hawks in minutes played with 1,814 out of a possible 1,890. She scored two goals to go with an assist. Lindsey played 90 minutes in 15 games. On November 6^th, Metcalfe recorded her first collegiate game-winning goal in the Hawks Conference of New England (CNE) semifinal match up against Endicott College. Metcalfe’s eight clean sheets saw her selected to the CNE All-Conference First Team and named the CNE Defensive Player of the Year. Metcalfe anchored a Hawks team that had six consecutive shutouts to end the season, including clean sheets in the CNE and Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference (ECAC) Championships. Metcalfe was named to the All-ECAC First Team, United Soccer Coaches All-Region First Team and United Soccer Coaches Scholar All-America Third Team. Lindsey was also named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team.
 
2023: Metcalfe started in all 18 of Hartford’s games in 2023, recording a team high 1,431 minutes. In 18 games, Metcalfe held seven clean sheets and recorded her first collegiate assist against Suffolk on September 30^th. Metcalfe played 77 minutes in the Hawks Eastern Collegiate Athletics Conference (ECAC) Championship win against Pitt-Greensburg. Metcalfe was named to the 2023-24 Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Academic All-Conference Team. Metcalfe was named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team.
 
2022: Metcalfe started in all 14 of her appearances during her freshman season, playing the maximum possible minutes: 1,260. Metcalfe recorded her first collegiate goal on September 30^th against Chicago State and recorded five clean sheets.
 
PRIOR TO HARTFORD: Metcalfe attended Palos Verdes High School in Palos Verdes, California for four seasons. Metcalfe was named Rookie of the year and Second Team All-Bay League as a sophomore in 2020. Metcalfe guided Palos Verdes to the CIF Semifinals and State Semifinals during her sophomore season. Metcalfe was named a team captain in her junior and season seasons. In her senior season, Metcalfe was named Team Most Valuable Player, Team All-Area, and First Team All-Bay League honors. Metcalfe also played club soccer for Beach FC, and was part of the club team that won the 2022 u19 ECNL Regional League National Championship.
