AT HARTFORD
2025: Welch made her debut for the Hawks as a junior transfer during the 2025 season. Over five games, she scored two goals and added one assist for a total of three points with a .667 SOG%. She scored one of the goals and assists in a huge 19-5 win at Wentworth on April 15th. Defensively, she contributed with two ground balls and two caused turnovers.

PRIOR TO HARTFORD: Graduate of West Haven High School, where Welch graduated with honors and was a member of the National Honor Society. 

AT NICHOLS COLLEGE: Welch comes to the University of Hartford after two seasons at Nichols College where Caitlin competed in 32 games with 22 starts. Welch ended her career with the Bison with 42 goals and six assists to go with 17 ground balls and five caused turnovers. Caitlin was later named to the All-Conference Third Team for the Bison in 2024, while also making the Academic All-Conference Team.
